Open

MOVEMENT THREE

Embrace messy exploration

Open is where most people stall. They wait to feel ready. They wait for certainty before they act. But readiness rarely arrives before you start— it’s discovered after we take  action. This phase is an invitation to experiment: to follow a thread without demanding it make sense yet. The goal is to explore and experiment. By exploring, experimenting, and following your curiosity, you create the conditions for new possibilities to emerge.

Generate 20 variations of one thing: write a few sentences, sketch possibilities, record yourself, make as many deliberately unfinished and bad versions. The only rule: don’t evaluate what you produce today. The goal is to keep moving.

HOW TO WORK WITH TODAY

You lower the cost of creating anything by training yourself to get out of self-editing, and staying in state of curiosity and exploration. You’re making room to be surprised  by the unexpected.

WHAT SHIFTS WHEN YOU PRACTICE HERE

What wants to come through if I stop trying to control what emerges?
