MOVEMENT SEVEN

Let go and allow for connection

Sharing reconnects the individual act of creating with the collective experience. Creative work doesn’t exist in isolation. When we offer our creations it becomes part of a larger network of people, ideas, and connections. Continuing to generate new cycles. This is the completion of a cycle, and the beginning of the next one.

Think of something you’re creating. Who is it for? Draw a simple map showing the people, ideas, or communities it touches. Then try to connect them to a shared purpose of a group, project, or community. Notice how our individual contributions and ideas exist within relationships, communities, and systems.

HOW TO WORK WITH TODAY

Sharing isn’t simply about publishing or putting work in front of an audience. This is about recognizing how the things we create connect to something larger than ourself, and understanding the connections that shape the ecosystem that support and nuture our growth and evolution.

WHAT SHIFTS WHEN YOU PRACTICE HERE

What larger conversation does the things we create belong to?
